Abhilasha Sarmah

Abhilasha Sarmah is the current Miss Teen Galaxy Australia 2026, crowned through the Australia Galaxy Pageants system. Guided by the organisation’s motto “be the best version of you,” Abhi was inspired to step into pageantry as a platform for growth, self-expression and using her voice to create meaningful change in her community. 

She is a passionate advocate for youth empowerment, confidence and self-belief, with a strong focus on encouraging young people to recognise their worth and embrace their individuality. Through public speaking, leadership opportunities and community involvement, Abhi is dedicated to amplifying conversations around resilience, identity and personal growth. 

Abhi is actively involved in debating, public speaking, the arts and youth leadership initiatives, including her role on the Gold Coast Junior Council. These experiences have strengthened her commitment to representing young voices and contributing to causes that support and uplift others. 

A key part of her platform is inspiring others to step outside their comfort zones and believe in their potential, no matter their age or background. She uses her title to promote positivity, confidence and inclusivity, aiming to create spaces where people feel seen, heard and valued. 

As Miss Teen Galaxy Australia 2026, Abhi hopes to continue building impact through advocacy and storytelling, using her journey to encourage others to chase their goals with courage and purpose. Above all, she believes that with passion and perseverance, young people have the power to create real and lasting change.
