Brooke Murray
Miss Galaxy Australia
Brooke first experienced the Australia Galaxy Pageants system as a fresh-faced 19-year-old with very little experience, both in pageantry and life. After falling in love with the values and sisterhood of AGP, she returned in her final year of Miss eligibility with a wealth of experience, purpose and drive; this is when she finally achieved her dream of being crowned Miss Galaxy Australia 2025!
Brooke is a Sydney-based philanthropist with a passion for leaving the world a little better than she found it. She is a passionate advocate for invisible illness awareness and research, driven by her lived experiences both personally and professionally. Brooke aims to increase health literacy and decrease stigma surrounding these conditions whilst creating a supportive community for fellow #spooniewarriors to connect and relate. She actions this through sharing and creating informative resources, conveying her story and experiences across multiple media platforms, fundraising for charities funding important research and education programs, and her ongoing development of the ‘Making the invisible visible’ Instagram live series. Brooke has raised over $20,000 for various charities aiding health-related foundations and at-risk populations, whilst also coordinating passion projects and mentoring younger generations of pageant princesses to incorporate philanthropic thinking into their everyday thinking.
Outside of Pageant Land, Brooke works full-time as an Exercise Physiologist, specialising in treating clients with permanent and severe disabilities. As a former professional dancer, Brooke first found her passion for working within the disability sector as a dance and cheer coach. She coordinated an all-abilities program for kids with various physical, intellectual and psychosocial disabilities through a local dance studio, where they were able to shine, be part of a team and achieve through the power of performing arts. Brooke went on to graduate with a Bachelors degree in Health Science (Sport and Exercise Science) and a Masters degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology to establish her current career in allied health.
Brooke embodies the message of “be the best version of you” in all facets of her life, and cannot wait to continue to expand her philanthropic efforts as your Miss Galaxy Australia!
